HI Long time no hear from huh?

Hi everyone. I am sorry I haven't been updating this as often as I should but we have had a really busy summer. That, and it is hard for me to get to the computer because Brian is always on it. We just recently found out that my dad has throat cancer. Last Friday he had a total larengectomy. He lost his lymphnodes, voice box, trachia, larynx and two muscles in his neck. He is in Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. He was doing pretty good but now there are problems. He has to go back into surgery on Monday and it is a very risky surgery. So I have been back and forth trying to be there for him as much as possible but with this crazy life I have I need like 4 of me! So I ask that everybody pray for my dad to get better. He is in the picture above.

So Karissa is getting so big! She has two teeth and says ma ma,& da da all of the time. She is constantly zooming around in her walker. Brian is doing real well too. But honestly we could do without all of the drama and chaos that seems to find us.

So please keep us in your prayers. We love to hear from you so be sure to comment. Thank you.

Much Love,
Emily

Please know that you all are in my prayers. I just found out about Uncle Mike a few days ago. Please let him know I love him and I'm praying for him. My sister Nancy and my mom and dad were glad they were able to see him this week. Take care....you have a lovely family.

Just want you to know that you are always in my prayers, and I pray that your dad will be OK.
We will be up next weekend, and I don't mind watching Karissa if you have something to do. So please... don't hesitate to ask.
Take care of yourself.
Love ya,
Dawn

Brian and Emily,
I shall be praying for you and your dad. It was soo good to see you last week and truly you continually inspire me by your servant-hearted love for your family- in the midst of all the hard stuff. I pray that you will have strength for the moment, and the ability to do what is asked of you, and also rest and energy. You aren't alone- remember that!! I love you both! And, I actually can log on to my blog so if you want to see my new life, check it out. Love ya!!

Hi Em and Brian,
Have been reading your blog and went way back to the beginning. I just want you to know I think you two are an amazing family. I can see where God has blessed you even through the hard times. I believe God is using your blog to encourage so many others who are going thru similar circumstance and they can see how family, friends and even total strangerscome togather to encourage and to pray for you. As I read your blog and many of the coomments I have been so blessed. May god continue to bless you and may He bring healing and strength to Brian. You Em, Brian and Mikie Joe are in our prayer circle at Church, also Noreen and Bill for all their support to your little familey. God Bless you all.
Love to all of you. Aunt Janet and Uncle Dale

Hi! Emily & Family,
You people sure don't need anything
else to happen in your family. Tell your Father that I send my best and will be praying for him.
I check on your blog every once in awhile and sounds like things are going pretty good for your husband.
Thinking of you people.
