Hi Everyone, things have been pretty hectic around here. I am making many trips back and forth to Syracuse and it seems like the days just go to fast. My dad is still in ICU and on the ventalator. He has been off for short periods of time but he didn't tolerate it as well as we had hoped. He has been there for a month now. He is really having a rough time right now, and so are Chad and I. This whole thing seems like a terrible rerun for me. I am very fortunate to have such a wonderful family. Between my mother, grandmother and my mother in law, they have made it possible for me to spend time with my dad as often as I can. My dads sisters Luci & Cindy have also been with us every step of the way which has made this whole thing alot easier on me and my brother.

Everyone else is doing well. Karissa now has three teeth and is surprising us every day with something new. She is awesome! Brian is really anxious for bow hunting season at the end of September. His brother Shane built him a thing just like he had for his gun but it holds a bow. Brian loves it and doing great with it. Its so nice to see him so excited again. It is sad to say that Fall is on its way. It seems like summer just started. It is really scary how time flies.

Well I hope all is well with everyone else. Looking foward to your comments. Please keep us in your prayers.

Lots of Love,
Emily0

HI Long time no hear from huh?

Hi everyone. I am sorry I haven't been updating this as often as I should but we have had a really busy summer. That, and it is hard for me to get to the computer because Brian is always on it. We just recently found out that my dad has throat cancer. Last Friday he had a total larengectomy. He lost his lymphnodes, voice box, trachia, larynx and two muscles in his neck. He is in Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. He was doing pretty good but now there are problems. He has to go back into surgery on Monday and it is a very risky surgery. So I have been back and forth trying to be there for him as much as possible but with this crazy life I have I need like 4 of me! So I ask that everybody pray for my dad to get better. He is in the picture above.

So Karissa is getting so big! She has two teeth and says ma ma,& da da all of the time. She is constantly zooming around in her walker. Brian is doing real well too. But honestly we could do without all of the drama and chaos that seems to find us.

So please keep us in your prayers. We love to hear from you so be sure to comment. Thank you.

Much Love,
Emily
