Hello to everyone!
Well it has taken me long enough but you are finally hearing from me! This website is so cool. I am so lucky to have had Katie and her gadgets to make this all possible.
Ok so first, Brian is doing really well. They had a meeting today and all of his therapists gave him gold stars all across the board. They told me he was amazing and had already accomplished so much in a week. He was referred to as a "rehab Superstar" and they are all really excited to see how this is all gonna turn out. I am so very proud of him. He amazes me everyday. Don't get me wrong he struggles everyday but he keeps going and going. We are terribly home sick and tomarrow being Bri's B-day is especially hard but this web site helps.
As for me, you all know me well enough to know that this has been the true test for me. I am still going though. I am fat, tired, emotional and totally uncomfortable. As I am sure you will see soon. Katie took pictures of my belly today. I am sure they will be posted soon. I am so not a city , but managing.
We want you all to know that we could not make it through each day without all the love and support everyone has given us. It amazes me everyday how many people pray for us, call us, send us cards and care packages and most of all stop in to see us. We love and miss you all so much. Our goal everyday is to not think about the life we used to have but look foward to the new life we are going to have. We cannot wait to come home. Thank you all again so much for being there for us. It will never be forgotten. We love you!!!!!!
Always,
Brian & Emily

Hello...
You don't know me- Marianne Schmidt told your story to our choir at Calvary Church, and I just want to say that we are all praying for you, and it's amazing what you're doing. You are very strong people. God bless...
